First, kindly please contact the global admin of your organization to diagnose the domain's email settings follow the link below to validate SPF records for your domain:

  • Is the recipient internal or external?
  • If you send emails to other recipients such every bit Outlook.com, Gmail, does the issue occur?
  • Does the result persist if all users in your arrangement send email to the affected domain user?

Depending on the information you update, could you lot please try to check if your account is added to the Restricted Users portal in the Security & Compliance Center. Thanks Nerissa, I'1000 trying to get hold of our admin. I'thousand too in touch with our ERP system back up and they said I should add something to your SPF records. Could you please confirm that information technology won't mess our emails:

Old TXT record:v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all

New TXT tape: five=spf1 a mx include:spf.protection.outlook.com include:spf.perfectmail.net ~all

Hi Ilyas Mussin,

Skilful mean solar day.

As far as l know, we tin can customize the SPF record in Role 365. Since ERP system back up said you demand add something to your SPF, this may be necessary to use SPF. Please don't worry, SPF helps to validate outbound email sent from your custom domain, it won't mess upwardly your mail.

Hey Nerissa,

We've got an urgent issue where all of our visitor's computers have go increasingly wearisome and then did our wifi, server and resource planning software. Basically everything is downwards and I think it's got to do with our emails and DNS records.

I was provided with the following DNS records from Microsoft but was advised to increment it. Delight tell me if I should I change those back to 0, ane, and 1 instead of the 10, x, and x respectively??

Records Data from Microsoft What I was advised to put
MX records priority (cer*******.com.mail.protection.outlook.com) 0 ten
SRV records _sip weight (target: sipdir.online.lync.com) ane 10
SRV records _sipfederationtls weight (target: sipfed.online.lync.com) 1 x

Based on the information you provided, I did some inquiry, and the information from Microsoft is correct, MX records priority 0 & SRV records _sip weight i)
